-How did the money get out the vault, and how could the flyers get in the van? My theory is the "SWAT" team took the flyers in to the vault, replaced them with the cash and carried them out with the SWAT gear. The flyers were then taken to the white van with security thinking it was the cash
Other theories submitted are... "the "SWAT" team took the flyers in to the vault, replaced them with the cash and carried them out with the SWAT gear. The flyers were then taken to the white van with security thinking it was the cash. The SWAT team got to the hotel just after the white van left with the bags. There is NO way that the flyers could have gotten in this way. The only possibility that I have come up with is that Bruiser had the flyers stashed in the room without cameras and Danny could have brought them down the elevator shaft when the power went out. Of course, we see that whole sequence and he doesn't do that." (Submitted by Tony De Tora)
and another theory from Phil Fernandez...
"Just to let u know something: your theory on the flyers is very inaccurate.
I know this because the flyers in the bags to the van left way before the
swat team even got to the casino!!! My assumption is that the flyers were
in the bottom of the cart that "the amazing yen" hid in."
and Joe Furmanek sent this...
"there was no way the SWAT team carried the flyers into the unmarked white van. The SWAT team did not arrive until after the van left and the audience actually sees security gaurds carrying the money into the van. My guess is that the money was switched some how on the way to the airport. Just thought you'd like to know"
and another one from Samuel Nappi...
"The money most certainly was removed from the vault by the "SWAT" team, however, the flyers could not have been taken in by them since the bags containing the flyers left before the "SWAT" team entered. I've been having a tough time figuring this one out myself and so far have come to the conclusion that it is a post production error that happens to slip by most."
-Whats the significance of the air freshener?
You see it first from inside the van whilst they are preparing things in the warehouse, then later on after the heist to show that the van was part of the plan from the start
-Why are they getting followed at the end?
Andy Garcia's character is a patient man who obviously suspects Danny Ocean's involvement somewhere, so is keeping an eye on his activity once he's out of prison. It also sets things up nicely for "Ocean's 12"
